Mizuno Alpha II Elite AS
Experience the pinnacle of speed with Mizuno Alpha II Elite AS soccer shoes in Galaxy Silver/Gold/Gold.
Lighter, faster, and even more comfortable, the Alpha II is the natural evolution for Mizuno’s speed cleat series, improving on key aspects to create an unrivaled wearing experience. The multi-layered upper of the first generation returns in concept, with some subtle changes to the makeup promoting greater flexibility and allowing the synthetic materials to smoothly wrap around your foot. The outer finish is refined too, granting exceptional control of the ball at pace.Elsewhere, the tongue is slightly more structured than before, helping to keep it snugly in place during play. It’s equipped with ZeroGlide grip, working in combination with the same tech on the sockliner and upper lining for a fully locked-in feel when changing direction.Optimized for responsiveness while retaining an ergonomic shape, the insole gives the familiar barefoot sensation you’ll recognize from Mizuno’s previous speed cleats, helping you recognize the right moment to shift gears. At the rear, there’s the popular ENERZY foam in the heel to cushion your steps and propel you into action.
Cleat Class - Elite
Alpha
If you’re more familiar with the Japanese brand’s traditional leather offerings, the Alpha is a very different proposition, favoring a light and fast feel above all. It is, though, crafted with the same care and attention that Mizuno afford every cleat they make, and there’s a Made in Japan edition available for you true cleat aficionados.
Thanks to some clever engineering, the Alpha is extremely comfortable too, utilizing a layered design with soft sponge and texturing on the inside to keep your foot snugly in position. Unlike many of today’s speed cleats, it also features a conventional tongue and lace setup for a more adaptable fit, making it a great option for pacey players with wider feet.
Mizuno
Their longest-serving cleat, the Morelia, was originally developed in the 80s to offer a lightweight, natural feel to South Americans who’d grown up playing barefoot. The idea was to showcase their flair, touch, and skill, and that’s still the thinking with the modern Morelia, whether you choose the Morelia Neo with its advanced tech or the classic, ever-comfortable Morelia II.
The Mizuno collection also includes the Rebula, their control-focused cleat, while the Monarcida range offers a more affordable alternative to the Morelia.

Ground Type Guide
Selecting the correct sole plate for the surface you are playing on is crucial, not only for the performance and longevity of your cleats, but also to avoid the risk of injury.
Using an outsole that isn't designed specifically for the surface on which you are playing may cause premature wear and/or damage that will not be deemed as a fault of manufacture and will prevent the retailer accepting them for a refund or exchange.
Turf
Turf, a synthetic-grass surface, usually applies to Astro Turf (sand or water-based). Playing on turf surfaces requires less cleat penetration, which is similar to the needs of a hard ground sole plate, and features a solid rubber outsole with numerous, small multidirectional lugs.
Turf cleats are also appropriate for play on very dry natural surfaces, hard dirt pitches or gravel.
