Mizuno Morelia II Made in Japan FG
Control the game in pure perfection with Mizuno Morelia II Japan FG soccer cleats in Morelia 40th Red/White/Black, which bear the ultimate hallmark of quality, Made in Japan, to give you confidence in every touch.
Embracing their “Kaizen” philosophy of continuous improvement, Mizuno have made some upgrades to the Morelia II in honor of the legendary cleat’s 40th year. The upper borrows a couple of elements from the Neo series, adopting suede for the inner lining and thinner laces for a comfortable, streamlined fit. The classically styled soleplate, meanwhile, is now made using a lighter plastic, and there are no rivets coming through from the outsole, further saving weight. Those changes make for an even more premium feel on field, and you’ll appreciate the lightness as you shift through the gears. Otherwise, it’s the Morelia II you already know and love, with that plush K-leather producing an unmistakable, unrivaled touch on the ball. The Made in Japan edition is the best of the best, made to the same specs as pro players and lasted for 24 hours rather than the standard 20 minutes.
Cleat Class - Elite
Morelia
It’s Mizuno’s most famous cleat and for good reason: between the luxurious upper and iconic styling, you have a combo that’s fit to grace any field.
Its lightweight, foot-hugging design was originally created to serve the needs of South American players, who grew up playing barefoot and craved a similar feeling once they turned pro.
No surprise, then, that it’s been seen on the feet of some of Brazil’s best players over the years. Most notably, perhaps, Rivaldo, who loved the quality of touch it provided and used it to devastating effect. Remember his hat-trick of outrageous strikes against Valencia? That was the Morelia.
The classic Morelia remains available today, updated with a few subtle improvements to keep pace with the modern game, while the Morelia Neo supercharges the cleat with the latest tech, adding an extra burst of speed thanks to its precision-engineered soleplate and streamlined upper.
Mizuno
Their longest-serving cleat, the Morelia, was originally developed in the 80s to offer a lightweight, natural feel to South Americans who’d grown up playing barefoot. The idea was to showcase their flair, touch, and skill, and that’s still the thinking with the modern Morelia, whether you choose the Morelia Neo with its advanced tech or the classic, ever-comfortable Morelia II.
The Mizuno collection also includes the Rebula, their control-focused cleat, while the Monarcida range offers a more affordable alternative to the Morelia.

Ground Type Guide
Selecting the correct sole plate for the surface you are playing on is crucial, not only for the performance and longevity of your cleats, but also to avoid the risk of injury.
Using an outsole that isn't designed specifically for the surface on which you are playing may cause premature wear and/or damage that will not be deemed as a fault of manufacture and will prevent the retailer accepting them for a refund or exchange.
Firm Ground
Cleats with Firm Ground soleplates are only to be used on natural short-grass surfaces that is firm underfoot but may be slightly wet.
Designed specifically for this playing surface, they offer acceleration, comfort and enhanced traction, dispersing stud pressure evenly across the foot.
FG soleplates are fixed (not removable) and are used worldwide; wetter countries tend to use them spring to autumn.
FG cleats are not to be used on artificial ground (AG) surfaces as the construction is not designed for the extra friction.
FG cleats used on AG surfaces will invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.
